- 4K makes faces, famous brands, hair and other details easier to identify, but requires higher network bandwidth and storage space.

- Full-color night vision is effective in low light; if you turn on the white light in the all-black environment, it will affect the pet's rest. It is recommended to change to infrared night vision or set the night time.

- Connection and installation:

- 2.4GHz is more stable through the wall and has wider coverage; 5GHz has a lower near-range delay. The distance and obstacles of the router will obviously affect the fluency.

- It is recommended to use Mesh Wi-Fi for large spaces or multi-floors; if long-term stability is the priority, you can consider an alternative model of wired PoE.

- AI detection can reduce false alarms, but light, shadow and flying insects may still be triggered; adjusting the sensitivity and screen pseudo-shadows (such as window curtains) can be improved.

- If you mainly take care of pets, apps with "pet event" marks or abnormal sound detection will be more practical.

- The gimbal tracking can cover a wide range, but the sound and movement speed of the mechanism need to be paid attention to; the placement position is more important than excessive tracking.

- Two-way voice is effective for soothing, but if the volume is too loud, it may make the pet nervous. It is recommended to test the volume first.

- Privacy and security:

- Enable account two-step verification, strong password and firmware automatic update; sharing authority is only for family members.

- Avoid the lens directly at the window and the neighbor's area; make good use of masking and scheduling, and take into account the privacy of the occupants.

- Storage strategy:

- The cost of the local card is low but there is a risk of being taken away; cloud backup requires a subscription fee and depends on the network. It can be used hybridly (events on the cloud, continuous recording locally).
